Building a great website is a collaborative process. This page explains how I approach work with my clients so their project stays organized, efficient, and focused on creating an amazing result.
Communication
To keep your project organized in a simple manner, we’ll use just a few tools throughout the project.
The Simpler Project portal for questions, updates, feedback, and sharing files (photos, documents, etc)
Zoom for meetings and design discussions
Calendly for scheduling Zoom meetings

Please keep project communication in your Simpler Project portal rather than email, text, or other messaging apps. If you'd like a more in-depth conversation, please use my Calendly link to schedule a Zoom call, thanks!
I totally understand that you may work early or late hours, but my office hours are Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm, and I handle communication during that timeframe. You can normally expect responses to comments in Simpler Project within 2-3 hours, during business hours.

Keep in mind that some of the most important work for your project happens behind the scenes. Even if you don’t see visible updates every day, please trust that I will deliver the next phase of your project in the discussed timeframe.
Our Roles
You know your business, your customers, and your goals. My role is to translate that information into a website that’s clear and easy to use, making it easier for you to convert potential customers.
Please keep in mind that a good website is only a piece of the business-building puzzle. My job is to deliver a great website for you to work into your overall business development strategy.
I’ll confirm the overall strategy and direction for your website project after receiving your completed questionnaire and requested files. From there, I’ll make the many design decisions required to create a polished, effective website.
Rather than asking you to approve hundreds of individual design decisions throughout my work, I’ll look for your feedback after I deliver a draft. This enables me to focus on the work I’m doing for you, it keeps the project moving, and will produce a stronger final result.
Your feedback is welcome, but I’ll also explain my recommendations whenever they differ from your initial ideas.
Keeping Your Project Dialed
I work hard to meet the deadlines I commit to. Once I’ve delivered a milestone, the pace of the project depends largely on how quickly I receive feedback or approval from you.
Delays due to your busy schedule are completely understandable, but please know that they will naturally extend the overall project timeline since I normally work with multiple clients and on multiple projects simultaneously.
Whenever possible, please provide authentic, high-quality, professional photography. Professional images almost always create a stronger first impression than AI-generated images, and help build greater trust with your audience. This includes headshots or portraits of yourself, and photos of your services and/or products.
