About Nathan Holritz, Founder of Holritz business Design
My Professional Background
I've been an entrepreneur for over 20 years, building brands that have impacted thousands and generated millions. I started as a professional photographer in 2001, photographing weddings and portraits for over a decade, building a high-end, market-leading photography brand in the Chattanooga market with my former partner.
During that time, I also started and ran one of the photography industry's leading image editing companies, processing many millions of images for professional photographers around the world for over 15 years.
As a means of connecting with and promoting my company to the photography industry during that time, I started and hosted a popular photography podcast - recording over 600 episodes. The podcast highlighted industry professionals and focused on teaching core business principles to the photography industry.
Prior to starting Holritz Business Design, I also spent over 3 years building and launching a paradigm-shifting mobile photography platform to make professional photography more accessible to the masses, before handing the baton to my business partners.
Most recently, I started Holritz Business Design in 2025, with a goal of helping business owners simplify their website and brand messaging so they can book more clients. The business sprang from my extensive experience as an entrepreneur, my frustration with the traditional web development process, and a desire to work individually with entrepreneurs to help them succeed in business.
In My Free Time
In my free time, I enjoy a variety of hobbies. My favorite thing is connecting with people - whether that's with my kids, my extended family, my girlfriend, or close friends. At the end of the day, what we're left with that actually matters is connections with other people, and the value we're adding to their lives.
Speaking of connection, I started riding motorcycles in 2016 as a means of connecting with family. I've owned 10 bikes over the years - slow and fast - and enjoy everything from just cruising to riding on track. I hope to continue riding for years to come. There's nothing quite like 160mph on a bike!
I played soccer quite seriously into college, and still enjoy kicking the ball around - if I'm not watching game highlights of my favorite teams, or even attending a game in person. Though their record isn't great, my favorite games to attend have been US Men and US Women national team games, and getting to watch Ronaldinho or Leonel Messi play in person wasn't too bad either.
I absolutely love spending time in the gym - whether it's pushing hard with some high-intensity cardio, lifting heavy weight or just my bodyweight, or watching an action flick while walking on the treadmill.
Reading, listening to podcasts, and browsing a variety of content - both educational and entertaining - on YouTube rounds out the list, with an occasional movie thrown in. If I had to recommend one book to anyone, it would be ReAwaken the Giant Within, by Tony Robbins. A close second would be Living Untethered, by Michael Singer.
